SCHEDULE: THE CNC HMC MACHINIST POSITION IS FOR THE EVENING SHIFT (3:30 PM TO 12:00 AM), AND THE CNC MACHINIST (LEVEL 5) POSITION IS FOR THE DAY SHIFT.
***PLEASE NOTE THE SALARY RANGE IS THE SAME FOR BOTH ROLES.***
***THE HIRING MANAGER IS LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH PREVIOUS HBM OR HMC EXPERIENCE. ALL RESUMES SHOULD INCLUDE THE SPECIFIC MACHINE THE CANDIDATE HAS OPERATED IN THE PAST.***
JOB ROLE:
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience operating Horizontal Mills. HBM experience is a plus. This job requires significant experience in setting up machines, setting tooling, and editing/adjusting programs as needed. Solid understanding of blueprint reading including GD&T symbols and tolerancing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Successful candidate will be responsible for producing quality products in a safe and timely manner.
– Loading and unloading of parts using overhead cranes and loading/unloading parts using overhead cranes are required abilities.
– Identifying problems before the production run to avoid running out of tolerance parts.
– Excellent understanding of measuring equipment and tolerancing.
– Excellent knowledge of cutting tools.
– Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
– Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
– High school diploma or GED.
– Must machining experience.
– 5-10+ years operating a CNC mill.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
– Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
– Ability to work overtime when required and stand for long periods of time.
– Job shop experience preferred.
