As an Intermediary Services provider, TalentGro can identify available grant funds and resources to create and manage apprenticeship programs for Information Technology (IT) employers.  We have several grants that can offset some of the associated program costs.

Providing your workforce with development and training opportunities has proven to increase recruiting and retention.  We encourage you to leverage these valuable grant opportunities.

IT/Cyber Defense Apprenticeship:

In collaboration with Google and Jobs For The Future (JFF), Motlow State Community College is offering the Google IT Support Specialist course free of charge for 20 qualified applicants.

Motlow State is building a pathway for students who successfully complete this certificate to earn prior learning credit (PLA) so that they may benefit academically if they choose to enroll into Motlow State’s 2-year AAS, Cyber Defense program.

TalentGro will assist Motlow State by creating a registered apprenticeship for an IT Support Specialist that incorporates the Google Certificate and Motlow State’s Cyber Tech and Help Desk program curriculum.

These apprenticeships will benefit employer partners looking to hire entry-level IT Help Desk staff or upskill their current workforce with high demand IT skills.
