Returning to civilian life is an exciting time, and it can be overwhelming for anyone. The process of finding a job or program that’s the right fit can leave a person feeling uncertain or defeated, but that’s where we come in.

  • Program Overview: SkillBridge allows service members who are within their last 180 days of service to participate in civilian job training, including apprenticeships and internships, while still on active duty. The goal is to prepare them for their post-military careers by providing relevant skills and work experience in the civilian job market.
  • Eligibility: Service members must have completed at least 180 continuous days of active duty and must be within their last 180 days of service to participate.
  • Identifying Opportunities: We collaborate with a wide range of employers across multiple industries, including technology, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, and more. These employers are willing to offer SkillBridge opportunities to transitioning service members.
  • Tailoring Matches: We work with both service members and employers to identify the best fit based on the service member’s military occupational specialty (MOS), skills, and interests. This ensures that the opportunities align with the service member’s career goals.
  • Building Relationships: Establishing and maintaining relationships with employers is key. We work to educate companies about the benefits of participating in SkillBridge, such as gaining access to highly trained and disciplined potential employees, often at no cost to the employer during the training period.
  • Real-World Experience: Service members gain hands-on experience in their chosen field, making them more competitive in the civilian job market.
  • Networking: Participants can build professional networks within their industry, which can lead to full-time employment offers.
  • Smooth Transition: By easing the transition into civilian employment, SkillBridge helps reduce the uncertainty and stress that often accompanies leaving the military.By connecting transitioning service members with employers offering SkillBridge opportunities, we play a vital role in helping them build successful civilian careers while simultaneously meeting the talent needs of various industries.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
