Benefit Specialist – Skillbridge or Military Affiliation – Raleigh, NC
Salary Range: $55,000- 65,000
Overview
We are looking for a Benefits Analyst to join the corporate team . This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Assist in administration of all firm health & welfare and retirement benefits including communication, enrollment assistance, and audits
- Support employees with benefit inquiries including general benefits education and troubleshooting issues
- Participate in benefits activities such as processing mid-year benefit changes and annual open enrollment
- Complete payroll preparation tasks including semi-monthly audits to assure benefit deductions are accurate
- Assist with special benefit projects and employee presentations throughout the year
- Primary contact for HR partners on a wide range of benefits topics
- Collaborate with benefit vendors to resolve employee benefit issues
- Manage and update employee information in HRIS system (UKG Pro)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 1+ years of related work experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship building
- Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
- High degree of professionalism with demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations/information and maintain strict confidentiality
- Excellent organization, detail-orientation, and follow-through skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited daily supervision
- Exceptional client service mentality and strong work ethic
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Ability and willingness to learn new software applications
- Experience with UKG Pro and AbsenceSoft preferred
