Led by the Alabama Department of Commerce Workforce Development Division, the mission of Apprenticeship Alabama (AA) is to ensure business and industry have the tools needed to develop an industry-driven Registered Apprenticeship (RA) program for its citizens.

The Alabama Department of Labor works closely with the Department of Commerce’s Workforce Development Division to administer the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and implement Workforce Development initiatives such as OJT, Apprenticeships and Work-Based Learning.

Manufacture Alabama is the only trade association in the state dedicated exclusively to the competitive, legislative, regulatory and operational interests and needs of manufacturers and their partner industries and businesses.

The Education and Workforce Development Cabinet acts as the governing body for Registered Apprenticeships in Kentucky and provides technical and consultative services to employers.

Employers can turn to Kentucky’s own Apprenticeship Program Coordinators (within the state’s Education and Workforce Development Cabinet ) for guidance and technical support with the Registered Apprenticeship process.
