Long Beach , CA Electrical CAD Operator (SkillBridge or Military Affiliation)
SALARY: $60,000 to $80,000
We have an opportunity for a motivated Electrical CAD Designer/Operator to join our Electrical practice in Long Beach, California!
Responsibilities
This individual will primarily be responsible for: designing and producing sets of plans for electrical systems including, electrical vehicle charging and building electrical
Participate on project teams in an active production role
Participate in project meetings internally
Daily interaction and collaboration on cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines
Perform quality work that promotes client retention
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree preferred)
3+ years of design experience in Engineering, electrical is a plus
Advanced knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD
Understanding of the National Electrical code, other NFPA codes/standards, energy codes is a plus
Building Information Modeling (BIM-Autodesk Revit) experience is a plus
Knowledge and understanding of Microstation experience is a plus
Electrical power, lighting and fire alarm design experience
The ability to work independently or in team environment effectively
The ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and a desire to learn
Ability to work independently and with a team
