– Must ensure that company policies and procedures are being enforced and adhered to at all times.
– Provide continual evaluation of the group's processes and methods to ensure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
– Provide day-to-day supervision of employee job execution, including; training, performance evaluation, and employee relations.
– Recommend tooling supplies and replacement parts as required.
– Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of equipment and materials in the fabrication area.
– Work with engineering, production control, and QA on drawing, manufacturing orders, and quality problems.
– Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
– Comply with all company policies and procedures.
– Directly supervise employees in the machine shop working on CNC mill-turn, milling, turning, and grinding machines.
– Review production schedules and prepare machinist schedules.
– Ensure all process equipment is functional, collaborating with maintenance and operations personnel to improve efficiency and utilization.
– Drive out NCRs & machine crashes by identifying root causes and implementing fixes.

– High School diploma or GED
– Minimum three years related experience in a manufacturing machining environment, specifically CNC Machinery
– Oil & Gas experience is preferred

– Provide training/ guidance to the shop personnel.
– Subject matter expertise in specific manufacturing discipline(s); CNC and manual machining.
– Demonstrates proficiency in processing, machinery, and materials.
– Work closely with manufacturing engineering department/programming on production start-ups to ensure required processes have been established and documented; coordinate timing/ support with debugging activities, including tooling/ equipment modification/ repair, and establish machine tool program acceptance.
– Work within the machine shop as required completing development, sampling, and NPD activities relating to process improvements currently in place.
– Drive innovation throughout the organization and maintain in-depth relationships with the manufacturing engineering department and tool room supervisor.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
